imagination and belief

We spend our entire life on stories of our past and speculations about our future. In all this life span we forget that the only thing that we can control is our present because past was not ours and future belongs to God. Everything in this universe is an agenda of Almighty and we all are mere propagation. But it surely and quite necessarily does not mean that we don’t have a purpose. From microscopic elements to gigantic stars, from fire to water, from desert to oasis, from mountains to valleys every creation has its purpose and that’s the reason for its survival. Life and death are mere visualizations. Death of a snake brings life to a falcon, life of a falcon brings death to a rabbit, death of a rabbit brings life to a human and death of a human nourishes the very soil that helped his creation. Factors affecting purpose of life are fear and bravery. We fail to understand their true meanings which affect our entire life. Going to a jungle with a gun is not fear and going there without a gun is not bravery. Our decisions in the present affect our future. Decisions are something that we choose in our life and their strength depends on the purity of our soul. A child makes a decision to eat a candy and he doesn’t rest until he gets one because his pure soul urges him to stick to his decision. God gave us a gift in the form of soul and our only obligation is to keep it pure. Urge and imagination are a part of our soul and help us to serve our purpose. God gave us the idea of virtue and evil, heaven and hell, truth and lie, Satan and angel, believer and a non-believer and gave us the imagination to visualize them realize them and think upon them. At this very point imagination together with fear and bravery shape the purity of our soul and an idea is planted in our mind. Once the idea is planted, urge helps us to turn this idea into a creation. Till this point we are being controlled by our mind and its imaginations. If we make a wrong choice at this point, it’s not the end. God gives us another chance in the form of heart and belief. The idea is taken to the heart, which helps us to understand it with the help of belief. Belief is something which has been planted in our heart and it helps us to nourish our soul just like our imagination. The only difference is that belief helps us to see the other side of the curtain. One cannot imagine God but he surely can believe in Him. At this point the world is divided by belief & imagination and a battle stage is set which will go on till the Day of Judgment. Belief says God is one, imagination creates idols. Belief says He is father to none; imagination creates Jesus (Son of God). Belief says God is Almighty; imagination creates monkeys, calves, snakes etc. Belief brings Prophets, saints and Sufis while imagination brings forward Pharaohs. One cannot get stuck to past but he surely can learn from it. One cannot control the future but he surely can decide what’s his present going to be. Choose which side of the battle you are fighting.
