The ray of hope

Thousands of years ago a new kind of life emerged on the face of universe. Weak but so much powerful, tiny but so much gigantic in its own ideas, this life form was called human beings. Questions were raised to God over the creation of this specie born from flesh and mud. Beliefs were shaken when the order was given to bow in front of Adam (A.S). But God knew exactly why He had created His most beloved mortal form of life. The mere purpose was love for each other and submission to Allah’s will. And thus began the fight between God’s trust in His beloved creature and Man’s insubordination to the will of Almighty. The battle ground was set and the victory day was decided to be the Day of Judgment. Though having the only purpose of destroying Allah's faith in his creation, standing beside man were Satan and Nafs (inner self). On the other hand knowing exactly what ALLAH’s commandments were, we played ignorant and kept on trusting Satan and Nafs. From time to time Allah reminded mankind of their duties through his Messengers. But instead of accepting their teachings and strengthening our beliefs we crucified them, hanged them, tortured them and exiled them. Love for God and fellow humans started to fade away. We started defining our own gods for our own sake. And some of us declared themselves as Pharaohs. Our hearts were filled with obliviousness and animosity. After the death of Jesus (A.S) our world entered into complete obscurity. But after 571 years, the last twilight of hope spread its light all over the horizon of the world and particularly on the desert sands of Makkah. Muhammad (PBUH) was born and Allah bestowed upon him Islam (Deen-e-Kamil) and Quran (the complete code of life). Muhammad (PBUH) and the new Muslims suffered terribly from chastisement, ridicule, slander, unjust boycott and physical torture. In spite of this, Muhammad (PBUH) remained steadfast, patient and took a non-reproachful attitude for 14 years. Then battles were fought against the Kuffaar (Non-believers) and after a very long era these wars were fought for the purpose mankind was created. Lessons of Oneness of Allah, justice to people, truthfulness and brother hood were taught to the believers.  Finally Makkah was captured and Holy Prophet (PBUH) gave his final address and said “O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will emerge. Then he recited the holy verses of Quran “Today, I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you and have chosen Islam as the way of your life.” (Quraan - Al Maidah -Ch 5 Verse 3).
